Funny and endearing

Kathy Griffin's hilarious accounts caused me to erupt into laughter inappropriately at work on way too many accounts. More than just side-splittingly inappropriate, Kathy's brave openness about her often-uphill climb to the top consumed me with her endearing stories. I've seen Griffin's talk show, stand up comedy in person and on television, and "My Life on the D-List," and this book was by far my favorite. Often misunderstood and completely relatable, Kathy remains one of my top-five people I'd love to have dinner with. If you enjoyed Jenny Lawson's "Let's Pretend This Never Happened," you must listen to this book.

Who knew this woman had such a past? I really enjoyed it, I feel closer to my gay loving crazy fantastic woman.

Transparent from the first to the last chapter

I really enjoyed this book. I thought Kathy revealed her life in a very candid and honest way. She's amazing, funny and very revealing. She's a friend who everyone needs at least one of . . . someone who tells it how it is!

I've enjoyed her work before & grew up watching her on Suddenly Susan, I wasn't an official Kathy Griffin fan until I listened to this audio book...

Loved it!

I loved every minute. Great stories and lots of laughs. I felt like I was sitting in my living room with a good friend.

Fun listen

I needed some comedy - so based on other reviews grabbed this book. I am very happy I did, I knew just a little about her before, but was completely entertained by her book & the fact she read it herself. Great listen!

Surprise

Honestly, I have not been a huge KG fan in the past, but I really enjoyed this book and I loved her reading it herself. It did not disappoint. Kathy just gained a new fan. I know she will be so very pleased. 😂

I loved hearing how she became the gossip thast she is by relaying her parents business to the neighbors and the neighbors business to her family.
