The AUDIOBOOK is in GERMAN
I did not notice that when I toggled between the print version (in English) and the Audiobook option that the Audible version is in German. I bet the story is great. Everything Christopher Moore writes is outstanding. I don't speak German so this was just irritating because I was excited about his latest book.

It’s in German
So irritating that it’s in German, very frustrating trying to order a book from audible, not user friendly at all.

Excellent German Translation and Performance
I've read/listened to this book in English and German. The translation is excellent, and the performance by Simon Jäger is outstanding.
Ignore the five previous 1-star reviews for overall/performance/story as these "reviewers" did not listen to the book. Instead of simply correcting their mistake of getting a book that is not in their native language and exchanging it, they blamed their error on the book instead of themselves. English is not the sole language on this planet. I'm glad that Audible offers books in a diversity of languages.
