So many great characters!!

so many incredible characters!! I wasn't immediately drawn to the voices, but by the end I was in LOVE. such a great story, with such good voices. great work to all involved

Absolutely delightful

I love me a good coming out, coming of age love story. This one was no exception. The author’s note indicated that this book has been simmer for A WHILE and it took some time to find the “right time” to drop it on the public. It’s wild to me that it took so long for this book to get picked up.

Both narrators did a WONDERFUL job. No complaints or concerns whatsoever. In fact, major kudos to Imani Jade Powers for keeping in the very human sniffle during a moment when Rose was spinning out of control.

This book was narrated by HUMANS. Telling a HUMAN STORY. With actual and real HUMAN EMOTIONS.

If you’re looking for a delightful coming of age/coming out, queer love story, look no further. Get this book, you won’t regret it.

What a great story

This is a beautiful love story that is representative of our times. This is a story that needs to be told. Thank you for telling it!

Such a fun Story

I loved everything about this book. The build up to the romance. The continuous roller coaster of story. It didn’t do the whole build up to romance, the couple is happy, something major happens, in the last second they get back together and everything is perfect. Each character, even minor characters, go through a whole developed story and each one feels fleshed out. I loved the characters. I loved the development. I loved the fact that I couldn’t tell where in the story we were. Just when I thought we were in the climax of the story, I was way off. Great storytelling!

Royally good book

This is one of my favorite books of this year. This was a very well written book. The flow of the book was good. I am glad Sophie Gonzales did not give up on this book in getting it to us.
