Emma, Eleanor’s best friend is set to marry her co-star on Catalina Island after filming wraps on the move adaptation of Eleanor’s book “When in Rome”. But with a storm coming in and Emma receiving a note saying “Someone is going to die at the wedding.” Will Eleanor be able to uncover the murderer so the wedding can go on.

I really enjoyed this cozy mystery. It had me laughing the whole time, and rooting for Eleanor and Oliver. If you are looking for a fun, lighthearted mystery to keep you guessing then this is it.

This is book two in the Vacation Mysteries series, but could be read as a standalone. I am hoping for a book three and looking forward to what Eleanor could get up to next.

I listened to this on @audible. Elizabeth Evans did a great job narrating and bringing the characters to life!

So Good

The story was so good. Enough twists and turns to keep you off kilter but enough clues that you may be able to figure it before the end of the book. The writing was terrific and the story engaging. The narrator was awesome and I will need to listen to more books she narrates. The ending hints at a book 3 and I am excited.

Didn’t see that coming!

I love this series so much. Can’t wait for book 3 (will there be a third?)

If you were a fan of “Everytime I go on Vacation Someone Dies”, then you’ll love this second book as well!

I have enjoyed listening to Catherine Mack. The way she talks to the audience keeps it fresh and entertaining. Of course, Elizabeth Evans reading is spectacular.
