Good plot, mediocre narration.
I figured out whodunnit fairly early on, but the story and characters still held my interest. The narrator wasn’t the best. She broke sentences in odd places that made me want to say it again the right way. But it was only slightly distracting from the story.

Loved everything about this book
Just awesome from start to finish- great story, perfect narration, enticing mystery, relatable characters…I could go on and on. I didn’t want it to end! Can’t wait to dive into the next book in this series!

Worth the listen.
Have listened to some of the author's other books and this was just as good. Appreciated the narrator's cadence. Wish they had stuck with one narrator for the series, but the narrator was good.

Another easy listen in this series
While I enjoyed this book and look forward to listening to the third in the series, it had moments that were reminiscent of the first in the series. It was predictable because it was so similar. I like the new characters, but again, the relationship between the two protagonists mimicked the relationship in the first book. I hope the third one shows a bit more originality

Characters are written well and I really enjoyed all the twists!

Great story
I really enjoyed this book. Great story and suspense. However, the narration was terrible. I almost stopped listening several times because it was so bad.
