Eigentlich hatte Zara ganz andere Päne für ihr Leben. Aber auch wenn ihr Ehe gescheitert ist, so liebt sie ihr Leben mit ihrem Sohn Nolan und die Arbeit in ihrem Blumengeschäft. Sie ist glücklich, finanziell unabhängig und alles ist gut so, wie es ist. Doch dann kommt ihr immer wieder dieser gutaussehende Arzt in die Quere. Erst im Coffee-Shop, dann in ihrem Blumengeschäft und - als wäre das nicht schon genug - auch noch auf der Party ihrer Freunde. Aber Zara hat keine Zeit für Männer in der Midlife-Krise, die sich nicht binden wollen. Und sie wird auch nach Mitternacht als Single ins neue Jahr gehen...
