God is present in our midst and is calling forth a people and a consciousness that is capable of divine union. This invitation is revealed in a developmental way in both the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures. The resurrected Jesus finally reveals the full and wonder-filled nature of the heart of God. As a result, Rohr says, "We have nothing to be afraid of and much to be excited about!"

So inspiring

Richard Rohr gives so many moments of enlightenment. He's opening my eyes to so many new understandings of the faith. I am an agnostic trying to give faith another chance.

Beautiful words, beautifully spoken

I stumbled on this author accidentally ( if there are accidents). His voice and his words sooth me and awaken me. I plan to listen to more books by Fr Richard Rohr. His words have touched my soul. I recommend this to anyone interested in moving to a more spiritual walk in Christ

TRANSFORMATION

Are you ready for “both” “and”? Human beings are both good and evil and therein lies the struggle. Jesus came to show us what it means to be truly human: accepting the struggle to transform our lives into supernatural lives. Are we looking to transform our lives or are we just following rules that the church has set? The veil in the temple was split when Jesus died; the natural and the supernatural have become one. How awesome is that?

loved every second. wished it didn't end. very clear and understandable. it made me love Jesus more and gave me permission to love other people without a "But".

Excellent listening that will take any Christian to the next level, what ever that happens to be!

Great overview

Typically we see great themes of scripture as doctrinal - soteriology, Christology, Etc. Rohr presents a great overview of the Big Picture of scripture. Many will disagree with his presentation while others ( whom God has prepared) will rejoice - myself included. I don’t say that arrogantly. God must bring each person to this place. It is NOT a work of ourself.

Richard Rohr never fails to delight

The wisdom that pours from this mans mouth- effortlessly and entertainingly- is incredible. He again reveals Christianity's transformational power and ability to deal with suffering. The powerful inner work that happens when you internalise the Christian symbols. For all seekers this can add to your knowledge and understanding of the spiritual and psychic realms.

Overall, the series is very, very inspiring. Some of the question answer sessions are hard to hear but the important stuff is very clear.
