If you like teen mom this tells the story of Amber. Found out things MTV didn't let us in on.

Fair but could have been better

The overall for this book, is that it's good enough to read, but def could've been way better! I, myself, being a recovering addict can relate to a lot of the things she went through, except jail. But I also know there is way more detail that she could've wrote about!! Not names or places, but more detail on the story all together. The book was very short and everything she talked about most people have heard already. I thought there would have been more, way more behind the scenes or things we didn't know. Lastly- the narration was horrible!!! She read it way to fast, like as in she didn't stop when there was a period. She mispronounced words or even sentences at times. Very poorly narrated! She should have done take two, take 3 whatever it took to get it to sound right. Or even had someone else narrate it! Geez, I wanted to return this and get a different book, but I felt bad because I already returned one book. Her voice was very annoying as well!! I wasn't happy that I purchased this!

I love Amber Portwood and her story.

I've followed Amber on Teen Mom OG for 10 years my daughter is one year see than her a and I feel ive raised mine right a long with all the girls! she is such an inspiration, she had a hard life and she made a tough decision to put herself in prison knowing it was the only way to save her life. bravo Amber, you have come out the other side a stronger more amazing person, mother, friend to all you k me and who know you!! this book was a great listen. I recommend it to many especially any teenagers that tho k having a baby at 15,16, 17....whatever is a good idea.

I really enjoyed this book! Listening to Amber share her story of struggle, emotional well being and joy was heart warming.

Good book, Bad narrating

I suggest just reading this book. Hard to follow with her narrating. Sounds like she doesn’t even know what is coming next on the page.

NOT THE AUDIOBOOK. I WOULD RECOMMEND READING IT YOURSELF. SHE SPEAKS WAY TO FAST AND HER SENTANCES RUN TOGETHER FOR MOST OF THE BOOK. I REALLY HOPE THIS WASNT PROFESSIONALLY DONE.

I WOULD TRY BUT IF THE NARRORATION WAS THE SAME THEN NO.

How could the performance have been better?

MAYBE BEING PROFESSIONALLY DONE WITH NO BACKGROUND NOISE (TRAIN) AND IT NOT SOUNDING LIKE SHES IN A BATHROOM.
