An Inspiring Life

I was surprised at how this book seemed to go so quickly and that a biography could be so interesting. Upon completing this life story I feel that transformation is possible for all of us. From a rather poor childhood with severe illness we travel with Bill as he becomes a successful professional. These early life experiences create the foundation for his future. Eventually, he connects with Helen to create A Course in Miracles.

Carol provides numerous examples from various sources of how Bill’s presence enlightened others. He demonstrated LOVE and JOY because he devoted his life to the practice of forgiveness.

Carlos’s narration is so soothing. I also enjoy her podcast where she reads the workbook lessons.

Must read...

For any ACIM this book is a must read. If you ever wondered what would a person deeply affected by the course be like then this is the right book. It's the ultimate case study of ACIM.
The narration by Carol Howe is filled with genuine emotion as she's personally acquainted to scribe himself but never putting aside the respectful and considerate tone when parallels are created between Bill's life episodes and the course.
Having read several books related to the course this one I would strongly suggest to anyone who's starting or already advanced.

Inspiring story of Bills Journey

This Audible was fascinating to listen too. I felt at times I was right there with Bill in his journey to God. True course practice. It helped me see how important it is to continue to BE with God and ask for continued guidance. A must read if your a practitioner of the Course.

I’ve read Carol’s book and it is a wonderful, personal story of Bill’s life, but it’s also a story of the Course in action in one’s life. I do a lot of driving these days (since COVID) and love audiobooks. I’ve been checking almost weekly for this one to come out. Carol is a wonderful narrator. It’s like sitting with a good friend and listening to a story.

Had to lower the speed of narration

Once I did, the story became alive in Carol's voice. Once or two she briefly moved away from the text and went on as if she was having a conversation with the listener. I know because I was following the narration along with the Kindle version of the book. The chuckles and emotion in her voice, clearly remembering the moments she was reading about, makes the story become personal. By the end of the book I would've loved to meet Bill in person and I thanked him in my heart for his part on bringing ACIM to life. I also thank Carol for the love she put into this project 🙏🏽

What a wonderful enhancement to A Course in miracles. I love A Course in miracles and this is a beautiful accompaniment,

Amazing experience to listen

The author reads with such clarity and liveliness that the whole story comes alive as it unfolds. I feel like I know Bill and the whole gang. Just regular people experiencing miracles.

After I listened to Carol speak on a Miracle Voices Podcast on August 5th, 2021, entitled: Forgiveness is Releasing Guilt, sponsored by the Foundation for Inner Peace, I remember immediately calling her at home in Florida and asking her to do an Audible audio version of Never Forget to Laugh. Carol told me that she had already produced two, free, good audio versions of it. But I told her that I would prefer an Audible version of it, only because I liked Amazon’s, the parent company, high quality productions and had plenty of book credits available.

Thankfully, a short time ago, this Audible version came out and was thrilled that my request was so shortly fulfilled. Carol did a Masterful job in every sense of the word on this production as she is a wonderful speaker who is obviously VERY spiritually-awakened—that I was moved to call as soon as I had heard her do so for the very first time—and narrator of this book creating a wonderful, intimate, personal, delightful rendition of it.

Any listener will have the same similar experience as me during and upon the book’s conclusion!

I laughed at myself crying

This is a beautiful and moving history of Bill Thetford and A Course in Miracles.
It is an inspiring story on awakening and letting go of our personal grievances.
I would recommend this book to anyone interested in ACIM, it’s history, Bill Thetford, spirituality or individual awakening to that which is greater.
