For such a dry topic, this read was entertaining and the data conveyed is definitely useful if you are intending to work with networks and have not been trained as a network associate or received your CCNA designation. Thanks.

Comprehensive superficial review

Networking for Dummies, 11th Edition addresses all, clearly but never in much depth. Networking under a Unix OS? Here are some things about Unix. Windows? Here's a brief tour. Wanna be a networking guru? Pay for the training. Clueless and want a broad overview of the challenges? This book can help. Typical of the series.

A great book

A wonderful book that I found to be developmental and maturative for a young man coming of age such as myself. I found great relation with the material and I further highly recommend this book.

Topics Simplified

This is a good book to pick up and listen if you're wanting to get into networking. Though it's mostly geared towards Windows, the author does cover, and simplify some fundamental networking topics. The narrators voice, the chapter titles, and the joke references keeps you engaged and entertained. It's a great refresher.

Good content, but its over 4 years behind

Misconceptions about the difficulties of clinics just a smattering of decoration about cloud solutions If this otherwise well written the book mostly obsolete in 2020

The worst book

I will never go through another book by this author. A major portion of this book is the author mocking people, trying to be comedic, and using the oldest of no longer relavant pop references with only a small portion of technical knowledge. Narration was mostly on point nothing I would get to hung up over..
