Great but limited by its subject
Great overal. Solid 4 stars. But after a while I noticed that the content didn't speak to me. Halfway through, the Greek myths seemed to lose any connection to me personally.

Perfect in every way.
The Greek mythology proves itself immortal and ever relevant. Stephen Fry's story telling and narrating is sheer delight. If I hadn't known any better, I'd say that Apollo couldn't have done this better himself.

A delight
Fry is wonderfully funny, he treats the characters with as much care and sarcasm as though they were great friends (even if some are less than savory). He has a very good grasp of mythology and retells the stories like a big old gossip, it’s informative but overall entertaining.

A wonderful experience
Stephen Fry has written a fantastic lens to view the Greek myths. By laying out the timeline and injecting humour and humanity - these stories leapt to life in my imagination.
