Maybe. It would depend on the kind of books they like.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I didn't have a favorite character. Each one made the story better.

What does Ken Farmer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Mr. Farmer makes it more interesting. He does a great job narrating the book.
He tells you more about the story by the way he chooses to make the character sound.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but I rarely get to listen to a book all in one sitting.
I listen when driving, folding clothes and cooking. That's what I like about audio books. You can take them everywhere you go.

At the top! Very much enjoyed the narration, especially the pacing.

Any highly acclaimed author specializing in historical romance.

What does Ken Farmer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

A very professional sounding narration that brings the words on the page to life.

It kept me completely engaged throughout.

Adriana is a very talented storyteller who knows how to keep the reader engaged from start to finish. Truly a page turner!

When I listen to an audio, I only listened to it once!

There were lots of beautiful moments of tenderness and lots of adventure!

No, Ken Farmer is new to me! It was good, but needed more intonation!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mysterious Templar?

I found the mystery of Arsenio's death intriguing. Why would they not reveal the body? But there were many other exciting moments.

Have you listened to any of Ken Farmer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first time hearing Ken Farmer narrate. He has a unique voice quality and in narrating he gives individual voices to the characters. This makes following the story easier and more enjoyable. I will look for more books narrated by Ken.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Beautiful heroine uses all her skills to counter insurmountable odds in the face of treachery and evil.

The story is told with great visual impact and fast action. The story has everything, action, villany, intrigue, love and mystery. Ken Farmer's narration brings all the characters to life with his unique panache and style.

Appealing Audio of Fascinating Novel

Would you listen to Mysterious Templar again? Why?

Having read and loved this novel, I was a bit hesitant to try the audiobook. Then I listened and was captivated as I experienced the story in a different manner. I will certainly track my favorite sections to hear then again.

What did you like best about this story?

The wonderful blend of romance and history made this well-written and interestingly plotted novel a pleasure. And who could resist the beguiling heroine?

Which character – as performed by Ken Farmer – was your favorite?

It is difficult to select a favorite because Ken Farmer's masterful performance of all the characters does not make that easy. Truthfully, I can't decide between Polyxena and Duccio because I love them both. I look forward to Ken Farmer's future audios and hope he performs the next books in the Templar Trilogy.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Among the many special moments that affected me,I was very moved by a revelatory scene that would be a spoiler if I described it.

I highly recommend this audiobook which both readers of "The Mysterious Templar" and newcomers will enjoy.

Really Bad Narrator

Awful, awful, awful. After reading the synopsis, I so looked forward to reading about the Night Templar.
