Same characters, deeper emotions

Loved the way it looked more in depth at the characters as they aged over the summer.

This was not as good as the first book. Left me longing for that triangle. Something wad missing

Sooooo good

I love Cole and Jackie so so so much. I loved Issac’s story line a lot. I wish Nathan, and Danny would have gotten a bigger part, but otherwise it was great. It’s a great romance and I’m gonna relisten bc it was so good. DEFINATLY RECOMMEND!!

Low-key love Issac

Honestly Jackie irritated me a lot throughout the book and it was shorter then what I’m used to but it was a good book and it highlighted the importance of communication. Overall a 5.

Writing growth!

I’ve been reading Ali’s books for over 10 years and I can see the growth in her writing. I grew up with these books and I’m so happy to see a sequel in her baby! Loved the book thank you!

Satisfying

It might not be the same as the first book, but it's not supposed to be. It fantastically describes navigating grief while trying to live life, and how important it can be to stay with your person, even when you both need to grow. A relationship doesn't automatically keep you from your goals or from healing mental health, and more people need to know that. This book is a good example in the form of fiction.

Second half was half baked.

After watching the Netflix series, I loved the first book. I was anxious to see the second book come out. The first half did not disappoint! The second half…I caught myself saying, ‘oh my goooshhhh. I have got to get this over with.’ The ending left much to be desired.
