This was an informative short read by Melissa Delport!! Such a sad story and my heart actually went out to Simon. It was a great explanation of his character in the book RAINFALL. I will be listening again and seeing if it makes a difference in how I viewed the characters originally.
Thomas Arnason did an excellent job narrating. This was the first time for me to hear him and I will look to see what else he has narrated.

Good Quick Read
My Name is Simon: A Rainfall Short Story was another great read by Melissa Delport. Simon was a young boy when he witnessed a crime that was so heinous. It caused him to dissociate and trapped him within his own mind. He finds Lizzy who came to be his only salvation. This was a good quick companion novelette in the Rainfall series. I can’t wait to read more by Melissa Delport.

Still don't like adult Simon
It was good, and heartbreaking, to hear the back story of how Simon ended up with DID. My heart really breaks for child Simon. Adult Simonnis still a s**t though. I gave the story 3 stars because would've liked to get a little more of Simon and Lizzie's relationship post integration, for a little closure that Simon was treating Lizzie properly.
Thomas Arnison is a fantastic narrator. He reads very similarly to how I do, so I didn't find my eye twitching during the story flow.

Wow! Now I don't hate Simon anymore
I really hated Simon in Rainfall. He was nasty and caused problems. No that you understand him, you feel sorry for him.
I just again realised why I don't like short stories, they are short. I needed more

Great!

Still processing it all
After listening to this, I'm hesitant to listen to the next part. I felt empathy and more for Simon and what he went through as a child. I was dumbfounded at the end!! I am resolute that I must find out more about Simon, James, and Adam. Great job with narration. I voluntarily listened to a free copy if this and am giving an honest review
