Lucky.

The one adjective used to describe my entire hockey career. I prefer to call it hard work - at least I did until my game went to complete crap. I haven’t scored in eight games, and the team owner is talking about trading me. I’ve never believed in superstitions. Never needed one. I suppose I was “lucky” in that way. But now the best way to refer to me is desperate. I’d wear the same socks for an entire year just to be the high-scoring center I used to be.

Imagine my surprise when after spending New Year’s Eve with a woman, I score a hat trick in the next game - that’s three goals in one game for you non-hockey lovers. Now, I have to track her down and bribe her to do it again before every game. Get your mind out of the gutter, I’m not talking about it.

I find her, and when I get to know her better, I end up spending more time thinking about her than my game, but she’s made it clear she wants no part of me. She’s going to learn that I didn’t become a professional hockey player without having to fight for what I want.

Aiden is so sweet!!!

Great dual narration!!! Aiden as the MMC was a good book boyfriend. The FMC was a bit whiny and her continued self loathing got old but glad she stuck up for herself in the end.

how aiden went back for her in the end.

I love when he realized that he messed up and fixed his mistake. He also have a big heart with great team mates..

Hot Hockey Dudes

Hot Hockey Dudes! Aiden with the kids? Saige with her broken heart? Of course they’d be meant for each other. All the players will steal your heart and make you want to know their stories.

The start of the Hockey Hotties was so incredibly good!!! Aiden and Sage were everything I wanted and more!!! What started off as a mutual flirtation turned into a superstition, then a friendship with boundaries, finally going to what we wanted since the moment they met a relationship! I can’t wait for book two of the series!!

Piper Rayne never fails to write a story that sucks me in and doesn't let go. I devoured this book, it was a fantastic way to spend my off day.
A non- superstitious hockey player in slump find a lucky charm. But there is a problem she belongs to someone else (or does she) and he wants her BAD!
She was hesitant because of her past and I got it but she frustrated me.
I LOVED Aiden and wanted him happy but he had it all and nearly ruined it!!
A fun, sweet story that had me glued to my Kindle

seriously this book was great. it had funny moments and plenty of action. I can't wait to see which one of the guys gets tortured next. haha I hope it's Max.

Lucky Charms?

My Lucky #13 is the first full length Novel in the Hockey Hotties Series and man are we off to a great start. I was introduced to Aiden in his cousin Frankie's book, A CO-WORKERS CRUSH, and I have been looking forward to his story ever since...and it was sooo worth the wait.

This didn't come off as a typical sports romance for me although it did revolve around Aiden's Hockey career, for me it played more into the superstitions and lucky charms we believe in, yes I know not everyone does but most do and this book was a perfect example of that. Aiden always seemed to have good luck, heck the guys even called him Shamrock because of it, but one day his luck ran out. Now he's been in a slump for the last 8 games and there are rumors that he may be traded if things don't turn around.

Aiden meets Saige at a party on New Years Eve and after their encounter he goes on to score a Hat Trick in the next game, now he figures he has to do what he did before that game before each of the games for the rest of the season, which means he needs to find Saige and talk her into going along with his plans. Crazy right, yeah she thinks so too LOL

The chemistry was great between Aiden and Siage right from the start. This was a great start to what I suspect will be another amazing series from the duo Piper Rayne. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys Sports Romance, or Spicy New Adult Contemporary Romances.

If you enjoy Audiobooks I would highly recommend this format as well because the dual narration between Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood was great, they really brought this story to life.

My Lucky #13

Great story with great narration.

It's fun, sexy and you find a lot of great characters in the book you just wanna get to know.

You just have to love Aiden and Saige and you can feel the chemistry between them.
Both had really bad experience in the past, but finally they find their way together - from friends to lovers.

Off to a great start

I was so excited when I learnt that Piper Rayne were writing a hockey series. If My Lucky #13 is anything to go by, then they have another winning series on their hands. This is Aiden and Saige’s story and from the first chapter to the last I was hooked on the story that the authors wove.
Add in that this book is narrated by Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood who I have listened to several times and I was all in, They did a fabulous job with Aiden and Saige's characters are brought them and the story to life for me.
Aiden is having issues and is not at the top of his game, in fact he is in danger of being traded if he doesn’t get his mojo back ASAP. Unlike most hockey players he doesn't believe in superstitions. However meeting Saige, at a party he knows she should be off limits and yet he cannot help but be drawn to her. Could Saige be the lucky charm he never knew he needed?
There were laugh out loud moments, witty banter, plenty of steam and characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in. The camaraderie between Aiden and his teammates added an additional layer to my enjoyment. I really like Aiden and Saige, both separately and as a couple and I could easily see myself as friends with Saige.
This was a fun, entertaining read and one I have no hesitation in recommending.
