Waaay Too Far-fetched!
Although the book's "only one of us will leave this marriage alive" premise was compelling, the book failed to wow me.
The book's beginning was strong but the ending was waaay too far-fetched.
It seemed like the author was throwing random "shock factor" events into the storyline to make readers gasp but this tactic backfired.
I prefer a higher degree of realism in domestic thrillers.
Narrator Tamsin Kennard helped me make it to the finish line with her outstanding narration.
