Murderous Affair

A
thrilling murder mystery novel set in the foggy streets of Northstead during the late 1920s. Follow Dr. Simon, a weary and overworked doctor, as he navigates through a web of deceit and danger in this compelling tale of love, jealousy, and murder.

Dr. Simon’s night takes a sinister turn when he is mistakenly called to the neighboring Ivy Lodge instead of Mr. Cooper’s home. There, he discovers the dying Ronald Farrah, a young man with a connection to the enigmatic Cooper household. As the dense fog envelops the town, Dr. Simon finds himself drawn into a complex investigation, uncovering illicit affairs, hidden jealousies, and a chilling premeditated crime.

With the help of Chief Constable Sir Clinton Driffield and Inspector Flamborough, Dr. Simon must use his medical expertise and sharp deductive skills to unravel the mystery. The tension mounts with each revelation, leading to more deaths and unsettling clues that point towards a mastermind behind the sinister events. virtual is not for me

I liked the story but the virtual narration was so monotone and flat that it made the listening to the story tiring and boring. would not recommend any virtual voice books. sad to say but would have liked another by this author but will not do it.
