This is my first book by this author. It was well written and very interesting. I look forward to more books by this author.

Excellent first effort.

The storyline was engaging though heartbreaking at times. My one tiny complaint is just as the protagonist was taking careful and protective step in the face of danger, her phone’s battery went dead. This is a pet peeve that smart accomplished women either throw their phone into a suitcase sized bag where they have to fumble ages to find it or allow the battery to go dead. This is as cliched as the protagonist being unreasonably charged with the murder and falling for the detective.
