Paris, 1899. Abigail Wilson has received an invitation from Professor Alphonse Flamand, a prominent French Professor of Archaeology, to join him on an archaeological dig in Egypt. good continuation of series
this is a good continuation of the series, but not great. there are some minor flaws. one is the lecture on Napoleon. I can't imagine an English man needing this education. then there are several times where Abigail is better at basic detection than Daniel is, despite his greater experience. It pushes past believability a few times. The interwoven story of the Dreyfus affair is well done and holds pretty closely to the real case. looking forward to more museums. maybe one in the US?
