What made the experience of listening to Mrs. Pollifax Pursued the most enjoyable?

The narration is always superb with the accents of each character adding to the richness of the listening experience.

I lliked the addition of the character Kadi to the storyline.

The adventures of Mrs. Pollifax follow the tried and true storyline recipe after the initial introduction in the first book. While always a terrific listening experience, it is the narration of Barbara Rosenblat's talented use of foreign accents which helps to identify each charactors individuality.

Great series

What made the experience of listening to Mrs. Pollifax Pursued the most enjoyable?

Absolutely loved this whole series. Narration was great except for the last book in the series. Loved the locations and the detailed description about the people, customs, and traditions. Mrs. Pollifax character was a delight and loved her. Listened to the series twice through I enjoyed it so much. The narrator was so good, I can't imagine that reading the books would have been nearly as enjoyable.

I enjoyed the lightness of this one. I love thar Carstairs gets out of the office in this one.

Old-timey and delightful

Mrs Pollifax stories are always a guaranteed joy to listen, eventhough their world view is somewhat US centric and dated for a modern listener. With a dash of suspension of disbelief this story becomes a delight. My only slight complaint is about the long pauses between chapters. I kept thinking the audio froze, but the the narrator continued, and although the narration is flawless in every other aspect, this irritated me.

I love Mrs Pollifax and Barbara Rosenblatt, and you will as well. It has everything - intrigue, excitement, humor and the best old lady spy that ever "lived".

Mrs. Pollifax once again hits a home run! What an engaging and entertaining story. A fast, fun listen! I will be sad when the Mrs. Pollifax series ends. Barbara Rosenblat is an excellent narrator!
