Acerca de esta escucha

Having once been a high-tech multimillionaire in Seattle, Bob Giverman ends up living in a teepee in Bellingham, WA—as a penniless philanthropist—after all of his money is stolen by his crooked financial advisor. But then, quite unexpectedly, fate deals Bob a new hand of cards; and his karma suddenly changes when he accidentally crosses paths with the Great Mahatma Guru-Goomjah in the wilds of British Columbia. Thinking that Bob is a reincarnated Bodhisattva from Calcutta, the Great Mahatma gives him a guru dog and an ancient scroll—which the Alaskan Fixologists are desperate to get their hands on. The soul-wrenching weirdness soon gets even weirder when the sexy Magdalen, out of the goodness of her heart, tries to help Bob, seemingly not knowing that the Weimaraner he’s been given is telepathic, nor that the Mahatma’s ancient scroll is, in fact, super important to the Great Fixer’s cult of believers. (Of course, it’s also possible that Magdalen isn’t who she appears to be, and thus she might actually know a lot more about the secretive cult than she’s letting on.) Note: Fixology appears to have evolved in India from the blending of two Far Eastern theologies. Yet the Great Fixer—i.e., the deceased originator of Fixology’s highly mesmerizing thought philosophy—was always quite reluctant to explain the particulars of how the mystical comingling had occurred, only confirming that a series of miraculous events had happened somewhere along the banks of the Ganges River. And to further cloud the historical record, the elders of each branching schism of Fixology have also refused to divulge any insights into their holy dogmas, stating that all members of their congregations have been required to swear sacred oaths that prevent them from revealing any of the esoteric secrets, which they claim can bring the dead back to life.
