As ancient immortals are left reeling, a modern Athena and Hermes search the world for answers in Mortal Gods, the second Goddess War novel by Kendare Blake, acclaimed author of Anna Dressed in Blood.

Can't wait for the next book!
I have really enjoyed this series so far! I'm always happy to find a new author to listen to! I started this series early Monday morning and I just finished book two! I thought I was going to have to wait a while for the next book, so imagine my surprise and delight to see the next book will be out on Sept. 22.
I enjoyed this book because of Athena, she is a strong goddess, but is also plagued with very human insecurities.
I can relate to her" why do I have to be the one in charge, but I'm the best one for the job attitude"! After this series I will be checking out other books Kendare Blake has written.
