Mercedes Thompson runs a garage in the Tri-Cities. She's a mechanic, and a damn good one, who spends her spare time karate training and tinkering with a VW bus that happens to belong to a vampire. Her next-door neighbour is an alpha werewolf - literally, the leader of the pack. And Mercy herself is a shapeshifter, sister to coyotes. As such, she's tolerated by the 'wolves but definitely down the pecking order. As long as she keeps her eyes down and remembers her place, the pack will leave her in peace.

Brilliant story but narrator was confusing
Loved this as a book but the narrator confused me. All sterotypes and little difference between certain character voices.

Narrator
It might be cultural differences, but I don't think a 15 yo girl sounds like a 5 yo kid when she speaks. I will add that Lorelei King is not the first narrator I've heard that has no teenage voice to cover a teenage character.

I love this book!

It's on of my all-time favourite authors!
What other book might you compare Moon Called to and why?
Sandy Williams "The shadow reader". Both are great stories, intriguing characters, good dialog, a mix between action and romance.
