Sweet Romance
This is a new author for me & I really enjoyed this series. This is the first one I read in the series so now I have to check out the others. I love Cori & Grant. They have a nice sweet love story. Had just right amount of emotion and spice for me. Joe Arden & Janine Granda were terrific in this audible. This is the first time I listen to Janine and she did an amazing job.

Narration Makes it Worth the Credit
The story for this book was EH at best, but the narration was next level good!! Joe Arden delivers the perfect broken hero performance and it’s easy to get lost in his words and his voice. He makes it easy to enjoy any story. Janine Granda is new to me, but I will be seeking out books that she has narrated. Janine made you feel connected to every character as she went through the story and her ability to change tones so effortlessly is amazing. Great narration, ok story.

A bit too unrealistic
I was looking for a fun romance, which this is, but I found it to be a bit too unrealistic. The conversations weren’t ones real people would have and the situations were over the top, to the point I often found myself rolling my eyes. If you want an easy read, this is certainly it, but it just missed the mark for me.
