The earlier book focused primarily on Darcy and Elizabeth's relationship during their early married life. There was a third Darcy represented in the title, however. Now she and her courtship story take center stage in Miss Georgiana Darcy of Pemberley.

Felt authentic

I understand that there is a risk in writing a sequel to any book that one did not write however I feel that the author has managed to create the right narrative. There are a few grammatical errors which I suspect most readers won’t notice but that is the difference between Jane Austen and others. I enjoyed the story.

did not disappoint.....

This book definitely lived up to my high expectations.. very easy to follow..and I enjoyed it so much it was like my guilty pleasure of the day to just sit and listen to see what miss Georgiana would do next.

Soppy romance

I liked visiting the old pride and prejudice characters. However, the writing was very wordy and overly romantic, and the plot was thin, predictable and tedious. I did like seeing the end of Wickham though.

if you want to continue the saga of pride and prejudice this is a must

Loved everything about it

Loved how it was written like she was writing in her diary. Love the women's voice who does the narration. Great book to listen to/read.

Repeat

This book is duplicative of the Darcys at Pemberley. It is told from Georgiana’s perspective. I found myself waiting to get to the parts I knew I was coming up.

It was also repetitive in that it repeated over and over Georgianna’s emotional state in the first person.

Delightful

What a delightful & charming sequel to Pride & Prejudice I wish I had heard this story before hearing Return to Longbourn.

Repetitive

I was interested in hearing the story from Georgianna's point of view so I commenced the audio with my eyes and ears open to it being the same story. However, there was so little new in the story I grew bored. I would have preferred to learn about a more fleshed out version of the young woman than hearing her cry out "my music" over and over again.

I find in most reviews are full of negative remarks, But I for one love her stories. Though you can tell they are not written by someone who was born during the time In which the stories are being take place in. The stories are wonderful and entertaning.

I think when you begin to listen to the story you must aproch it with an open mind. It took me a few chapters to truly enjoy the books and now I cant wait to read the next one.
