More fascinating than X Men!
Amazing and exciting story about power, freedom, and social connections. Beautifully performed by Robin Miles, and incredibly multi faceted reader. Very satisfying conclusion to the story of Doro and his children.

Great story, Narration not so much

I missed Anyanwu!

Fantastic (part 2) story and a great listen!
Robin Miles is now one of my favorite narrators! I loved the story AND the ending! It was riveting. A great story to get lost in about being who you are despite who you come from and how you were raised.

Why did they change narrators?
I’ve listened to this book several times with the narrator Christie (or Christy) Clarke and I really enjoyed what her voice brought to the story. I felt that she was the voice of Mary and something is lost now that she is not narrating.
