The microscopic world of Zertera exists within the normal physical realm, hidden from human eyes. Its inhabitants, the Zerterans, possess the extraordinary ability to travel between their world and the larger universe at will. They serve as the microscopic guardians of the cosmos, dedicated to battling the myriad unseen enemies that threaten human existence. Bound by an ancient prophecy, the Zerterans are destined to be the saviors of mankind in a conflict that will erupt on Earth and spread throughout the universe. This prophecy foretells that the Zerterans are the sole force capable of halting the annihilation of all life across the cosmos.

As the story begins, the Zerterans sense a disturbance in the universe. Their most powerful enemy, a microscopic species known as the Krog, has launched a massive assault. The Krogs' mission is to wipe out humanity, believing that humans are a blight upon the universe. The Zerterans mobilize, traveling to the human world to intercept the Krog invasion. They find themselves overwhelmed by the sheer number of Krogs, who have evolved new and deadly tactics. The Zerterans realize that the prophecy is unfolding faster than anticipated, and they must act swiftly to prevent the collapse of the cosmic order.

The Zerterans launch a desperate counterattack, using their advanced technology and mystical powers to push back the Krog forces. However, the Krogs have infiltrated deep into the human world, threatening to spread their devastation to other planets. The Zerterans struggle to contain the invasion, and their numbers begin to dwindle.
