He's the Big Bad that I've been sensing, but no one knew what kind of a Big Bad he was.

A different kind of Halloween story

This was such a good Halloween novella. I really like Micaela she’s feisty, strong and kind and then her best friend Nicki is fun and goofy. Of course when Kieran came into the story the story turned super hot and then we meet Rakon that was a surprising twist. This novella had some action some drama some hot moments and some romantic moments I would happily read about the same characters in a full book

Interesting new world

Loved the characters, loved the story, thought Savannah Peachwood did a great job giving each of the main characters a distinctive voice. I knew going in that this was a paranormal story, but Tijan took me to unexpected places and gave me exactly the story I didn’t know I needed. I loved so many characters: Micaela, Nikki, Kieran, Rakon, and even cousin Ralph. If Tijan ever decides to write another story set in this world, I will jump in without hesitation.

love it boo it had a dragon, vampire, Demons,cheating ex boyfriend, club,two best friends , Whiskey, now if that isn't scary on Halloween I don't know what is its a great tale to listen to!!!

Short Story That Checks All The Boxes!

Love how Tijan combined the paranormal world with our everyday world. I am usually not a fan of paranormal romance, but this novella hit all the marks!! Definitely worth a credit and would definitely recommend-especially around Halloween! It’s the middle of summer now, but once I started i couldn’t stop listening. Perfect excuse for a reread!

I love all of Tijans books! My only complaint is I wish it was longer but who doesn’t when it comes to a book that you love to listen to!? I saw a negative review on here about plot holes and funny names and I’m not sure where they got that from but I hope you give this book a try I did and I enjoyed it!

My Thoughts on Micaela's Big Bad

This was my first dip into Tijan paranormal and I am so happy that I gave it a listen. I was looking for a nice quick Halloween themed story and this more than met the mark. It was a full, satisfying story that I listened to in just a few hours. I didn’t want to put it down so it was easily finished in one sitting. Micaela was this funny, loyal, totally awesome leading lady that I loved. She and “the big bad” and her best friend were all such solidly written characters that even in such a short story I didn’t find myself missing anything. This is easily a story I can see myself coming back to in future for Halloween. It had humor and vampires and dragons steam and so many good things. And the fact that it was narrated by Savannah Peachwood was just icing on the cake. She did such a great job with the multiple characters that I didn’t really find myself missing a male narrator. She was a great choice and great fit for this story and I will happily listen to more of her in future as well as this one again.

there's a ton of plot holes. the dialogues are outrageous, the characters and names are laughable and not in a good way. its just a waste of credit.
