I wear many hats—Man of God, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Comedian, and more—but all are worn with pride. Through these reflections, I invite you to see the world as I do, through the lens of a Black man living in today's United States.
In this book, I open up about my journey—celebrating successes, confronting challenges, and navigating the complexities of life. I explore the highs and lows of fatherhood, the grind of making a living, the pursuit of dreams, and the realities of racism. I delve into personal battles with suicidal thoughts, unhealthy emotions, and addiction. But here's the spoiler: I keep finding ways to win.
As you listen, I encourage you to put yourself in my shoes. Swap my name for yours, and you may find that our experiences aren't so different after all. My hope is that by sharing this journey with you, we can walk this path together and perhaps see the world a little differently.
