Meanwhile, Lonnie is looking to adopt, Colt has a new mystery to solve, and Velma comes face to face with a blast from her past.

Lackluster

I prefer to write nice things, but in this case I have to make a minor exception. I don't know whether it's the author's writing or the actress, but most dialog sounds unnatural and forced. The spoken words don't sound like a normal conversation. Much of the time it sounds like the author took their teachers' advice to write using "correct speech" too far, forgetting that normal people don't talk that way. Once you get past the majority of characters speaking like Mr Data, the story is interesting enough.
