No big surprises as to who

The patients were pretty easy to identify but the diagnoses were a surprise in most cases.

Excellent. Truly fascinating. I just wish it was longer. I try to use my credits for longer books so I can have more hours of listening. So in retrospect I probably would not choose this a second time just for that reason. But I really enjoyed it anyway.

Information and well articulated

Enjoyed how the narrator explained everything and could bring a patient to life for the examination, very thought provoking for someone outside the medical field and very informative!

Captivating Story Telling

I loved trying to figure ot both the diagnosis and the famous person who suffered through his or her illness. I found the history behind medical discoveries as well as the symptoms associated with them fascinating as well. I feel much more informed about medical conditions as a result, which may come in handy in my future.

As a practicing physician, I found these stories sensitive accurate and enlightening. My older kids were entranced as well. An excellent presentation

The Last Surprise

I loved Part 1, and Part 2 was equally wonderful. Each case is fascinating in its own way but the last one is the only one that made me tear up. "Rob" just had a profound impact on millions of people myself included so while I was able to emotionally detach, and, quite successfully, guess some of the diagnoses, the last case made me feel like I was sitting at a hospital waiting room worrying about a friend.
