Marie Force is the BEST!!!

I an hooked on this series!!! If I could give 10 stars i WOULD!!! I am loving this series!!!

Of nothing else you need to hear the proposal. Literally the most funny thing I've ever heard, my stomach still hurts.

This is about a women whom had been hit by 9-11 and other tragedies and comes to the island to heal.
And a man that comes back home to help his brother take care of a sick mother. The emotion in this book is off the charts . 9-11-01 is a day that touches all Americans weather we knew someone there or not,but to be drawn to a character with such a close tie , well it was heartbreaking.
To have both broken people get there hea after all the crap was Beautiful . Props to the author!!! Excellent JOB!!

I really like the scenary. I would like to see the lighthouse.

Enjoyable listen.

I enjoyed this book and found Jenny and Alex's story particularly engaging. I almost gave up on the series after the last book but am glad I didn't. Jenny and Alex are both strong characters and you can't help but want things to work out for them. Unfortunately the narration is no better than in the previous books.

All the Gansett books in the series. Good series. Well developed characters.

The narrator detracts from these books. All the men sound the same. It is difficult to follow when the story moves from one character to another since most of the males are voiced the same and most of the women's voices are the same. I like Marie Force but I am hesitant to read another book read by Holly Fielding.

Great Story

Loved the tale of Alex and Jenny . Loved catching up with the other Gansett island friends and to see their exploits.

Jenny... so much loss and pain in her life
Alex... facing a family illness that is dtaining his life. you meet new chatacters hear about old ones but going to the island threw these Audibles is simply ....a amazing journey

Absolutely beautiful

I was about to walk away from the series after the last book! Don't give up!!! This may be one of my all time favorites. This story is so beautiful and touching. Keep your Kleenex handy!!!

Was Just OK!

narrator was good! story was just ok! kinda too much at times, but hooked on to see where the hole set goes to so ill keep listening & reading!

Ridiculous Narration!

While I loved the story and catching up with the goings on of all the characters, I wanted to claw my eyes out from the pitiful narration. Between the awful mispronunciation of so many words, the big breaths between sentences and the narrator talking through her nose I could barely finish. Don’t they proof listen before they release these books? Holly Fielding has got to be one of the worst narrators I have listened to so far!
