Trilogien er solgt til udgivelse i 42 lande, og første bind var bogen bag efteråret 2014’s store ungdomsfilm. Infernoet kommer som biograffilm i september 2015.
Thomas var sikker på, at flugten fra Labyrinten ville betyde frihed for ham og de andre lysboere. Selv i sin vildeste fantasi havde han ikke regnet med, at noget endnu værre var i vente. Jorden er lagt øde. Udbruddet hærger. Kun de rigeste får behandling, ingen bliver helbredt.
Thomas vil hellere dø end at blive smittet af sygdommen, der langsomt fortærer hjernen – men er hemmeligheden til kuren gemt et sted i hans sind? Eller vil hans skæbne for altid være i hænderne på WICKED og deres eksperimenter? Fase 2 er kun lige gået i gang...

Der er spænding igennem hele bogen, og specielt nær slutningen var jeg 100 % klar til at gå ind og stikke et par lussinger, hvis det kunne hjælpe mine drenge.
