This German course trains with the Guided Imitation Method, a Foreign Service Institute (FSI) technique for learning languages. The approach guides you to imitate native speakers using oral drills. You hear, understand, and respond in the foreign language.
The program is intensive, it is challenging, and it is rewarding. The goal of the Guided Imitation Method is conversational fluency.
Learning to speak a foreign language competently requires work. And this course is likely the most demanding self-learning program available. We encourage you to try an excerpt before you buy it.
Mastering German Conversation Set 1 provided verbal drills for mastering the gender, case, and adjective ending rules. Mastering German Conversation Set 2 practices using prepositions in verbal communication.
