Perfect narration for a perfect story

Marry me is such a sweet & steamy story about best friends falling in love. I absolutely love the fake relationship trope and Mia Monroe wrote it perfectly. Kale Williams had the perfect narration to really bring this story to life as an audio book.

Briar is a sweet baker who doesn’t want to face his awful ex alone. He asks Jude to pretend to be his fiancé at a wedding he has to attend that his ex will be at. Jude is a great best friend and has no problem pretending to be Briar’s fiancé. As they practice being affectionate in public in order to pass as a real couple at the wedding he realizes he enjoys all the things they do. Jude starts to wonder if he’s as straight as he always thought.

This story was everything I love about MM romance. It had real heart, lots of laughter, two characters that are prefect for each other and the best HEA you could ask for.

Mia Monroe is an amazing author. And I´m starting to love Kale Williams as a narrator.

I loved this story and I have both read it and listen to it.

Amazing story and narration!

Mia's writing is always amazing and hearing it read aloud is an experience everyone should have. I can't rave about this audiobook enough!! Jude and Briar's love story is one of my favorites! Kale Williams is quickly moving to the top of my must listen narrators.

Super sweet

This was a really sweet story. Not a lot of angst or suspense but good friends, good people, and a good story. Kale Williams also did an excellent job narrating.

Jude & Briar

Gah! I loved Jude and Briar’s story! So much so when I heard this was coming to audio, I knew it was going to be a must-listen. Kale Williams did a great job bringing Jude and Briar to life! I’m a huge fan of friends to lovers, and when you throw in a fake fiancé scenario I’m hooked right in! Their story was fun, sweet, sexy (hello hot and steamy first times) and made me laugh. Kale did a wonderful job with those sexy first times, and really drew me right back into their story. I loved how Jude would do anything for Briar to be comfortable attending a friend’s wedding where his cheating ex would also be. I thought it was so sweet the way he immersed himself in all things Briar and gay culture to pull off their charade. I felt for Briar as he tried to keep himself falling for Jude and I was silently cheering him on to “just tell him how you feel!” I really enjoyed getting to know their friends and now I need all their stories! Ultimately I love how their relationship unfolded and how they came to realize there was nothing fake about what they were feeling. I adored their HEA and it left a giant smile on my face!

Loved this Series!

Listening to this audio reminded me just how much I loved Jude and Briar's story when I read it last year.  Kale Williams was an excellent choice for the series with his cool, even, sexy tone he really did great with this very large cast of characters.  The few glimpses we got of Saint and his Scottish brogue has me eagerly anticipating book 2 on audio!


This had all of my favorite things wrapped into one...BFF to lovers, fake relationship that becomes real, fabulous dialogue, open and honest communication, a cast of wonderful friends, sexual awakening, two fabulous main characters, romance, intimacy, and smoking hot scenes...this was just such a perfect book! Jude and Briar were just amazing. I liked both of them right from the start. Their friendship was believable, I never doubted they cared for each other. I adored the time they spent together just talking and supporting one another, I absolutely loved all of their friends and how involved they were in their lives and involved in their journey to real love, and I really enjoyed how they both completed each other and watching them figure that out along the way. Stellar book by Mia Monroe!

Not what I was expecting

Nice story. very sweet and low drama. I was expecting something totally different. tattoo artist and the baker, its definitely so sweet. HEA and nice job by Kale Williams bringing the story and characters to life. well worth the credit and your time to listen.

Sweet, sexy and oh so amazing!

I am a huge Mia Monroe fan and adored this book but Kale Williams has brought it to a whole other level. His narration is perfect - he’s got a sexy, gentle tone that has Briar and Jude written all over it. Absolutely amazing and I hope he does the rest of the series!!

Falling for characters has never been so easy

I'm the last person who would want to give any spoilers to those who consider buying the book. All I can say is that this book is WORTH so much and more. The flow, for me, was perfect and the pace never felt rushed. The characters, oh, the characters... To put into words how I feel about this book would be difficult so I'll just say that I enjoyed it from the very beginning to the end. Bravo, author. Off to the next book in the series.
