A bewitching love story

This was a fun romantic, urban, fantasy story! It definitely has some subtle Buffy vibes, no hellmouth, or teenage drama, but something about it just reminded me of the show.
The writing has a nice mix of serious with the humorous and good character building over time.
The blacksmithing details were fun and added a unique touch to the setting and story.

While the book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, there is still a lot left to explore with the town, the characters, magic, the romance, I’m very much looking forward to book two.

My New Obsession!

If you want a fun adventure filled read, then you have found the right book. The story will draw you in immediately, and the lovable characters fit perfectly in this magical world Sharon Angelici created. I cannot rave about this book enough!

Good start

I liked this book and it is a good start to this series, I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series. I can't wait to see how the two MC develop more as the series goes along.

Witchy

A slow burn witchy sapphic romance. The way the story was read made it a bit hard to differentiate between the MCs. The storyline was interesting and I loved their second chance romance. Spice is fade to black.

Full of Lore and Love

This is a wildly fun and beautifully paced story full of love and uniquely executed lore, magic, and demonology. The world building and character arcs are so carefully constructed and you'll immediately fall in love with this small mountain town and the people drawn to protect it. Sharon Angelici is a brilliant storyteller and I cannot wait to see how this epic trilogy unfolds!

enjoyable story

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were secretive, but well-written. I think this is the first time hearing this narrator, and I liked her.

A love story with super natural twists a d trades

This is a great listen. You can let your mind adventure to new places of love and magic.

Wonderful sapphic paranormal listen

This was a nice length audio book. I am a relatively new supernatural/demon type books. That being said this was a great listen and I was wanting more when it was finished. I was drawn to the backstory of both main characters and their professions they pursue in this book. One is more mainstream and a more rural. (no spoilers). I was so glad that I took the opportunity to listen to Mark of the Maker....the one thing I would consider is the content could be challenging if the reader was involved in out of home placement as young person. It is amazing the wonderful books I find when I start stretching my genre legs. Nice sapphic characters and their demon counter parts or antagonists. Enjoy this audio book. I am excited for the next book in the series.
