Widely regarded as the best and most revealing account of the highs, lows, genius and flaws of arguably the greatest footballer of all time, this biography inspired Asif Kapadia’s award-winning 2019 film Diego Maradona.

Too much negativity on this book
I was hoping I would get some additional stories about Maradona that are not well known, but what I found is a lot of frustration expressed by the author about the player. I felt the book was not about Maradona but about the author’s own negative feelings against Diego Maradona.
