Great Book

Majestic Cove Mysteries Books 10-12 Box Set was another great box set by Meredith Potts. It consisted of; Cupcakes, Conundrums, and Calamity; Caramels, Custody, and Cruelty; and Brownies, Bistros, and Betrayal. All three books followed Melody Clue and her wild investigations as a private investigator. I really enjoyed reading these books and can’t wait to read more by Meredith Potts.

I much prefer reading the book sets than each single book, you get more out of the mystery and can really enjoy the characters.
The narration was very good.

Quirky and fun!

Three books in one listen! Meredith Potts has bundled books 10-12 and lets us go out with Melody Clue as she solves the mysteries in Majestic Cove. The first book, Cupcakes, Conumdrums and Calamity is a quick, fun listen. Melody is trying to relax when a new case hits her desk. Not being able to ignore it, she goes out on her mission only to be completely surprised by the outcome! Cupcakes, conundrums and sports cars all rock this short. The second book, Caramels, Custody and Cruely is a little darker themed than others by Meredith Potts. We get to go on Melody's undercover stakeouts and what we find out is not always heart happy. This one takes us on a custody battle, and the results are not pretty. We also get to check out Melody's budding relationship with police detective, Scott. Will it ever take off? And the the third book, Brownies, Bistros and Betrayals has Melody undercover in a restaurant, and what she reveals to the owner is surprising! Stephanie Quinn continues her narration of Potts's books. She gives these quick listens interesting characters and easy on the ears voices leading me to several hours of entertainment.

Melody has another case and this one may not have the outcome she desires but that happens sometimes when doing investigative work. On the other hand, looks like her personal life maybe moving in a positive direction.

Caramels, Custody and Cruelty

Yay! I’m so happy to see Melody finally go on a date. And her case was definitely an interesting one at that. Such a fun listen.

Brownies, Bistros and Betryal

I’m happy to see Melody’s relationship is blooming and watching her last case take its toll was interesting to say the least. Another great story.

Perfect combination the books by this author and the narration by Stephanie Quinn. Always enjoyable one to listen to. You love the characters, and the murder that always seems for her to solve. This one had a few surprises awaiting her also.

A well-written story from a good author

Brownies, Bistros, and Betrayal (Melody Clue Novella), my fifty-third short read/listen from prolific author Meredith Potts, Well-written & enjoyable. another cute, clean cozy mystery. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. As in so many of her audiobooks, Stephanie Quinn’s talented narration adds to the book's enjoyment. I look forward to reading the next in this series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

3 Great Cozy Mysteries

This set has 3 different stories in it. Melody has her own private detective agency. In the first book, Cupcakes, Conundrums & Calamity, she is hired by Stacy to investigate her fiance, Nick. She was sure Nick must be cheating on her. What Melody uncovers is a shock to both her and Stacy.

In the 2nd story, Caramels, Custody, & Cruelty, Amy hired Melody to stake out her ex-husband, Gregg. They are involved in a custody dispute over their son, Billy.

In the 3rd story, Brownies, Bistros, & Betrayal, Stephen hires Melody to discover what is going on inside his own restaurant. Melody goes undercover as a waitress to try to glean info from the other employees.

Throughout these 3 stories, we have a developing relationship between Melody and Scott, a police detective. It is a very sweet story and I greatly enjoyed that thread throughout the books.

I highly recommend these books. Meredith Potts writes wonderful cozy mysteries. Stephanie Quinn is a top-notch narrator, easy to follow and with a very pleasing voice.
