Madeleine Albright was the first woman to serve as US Secretary of State and was the United States' permanent representative to the United Nations. She is chairman of the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs. Albright authored The New York Times best seller Madam Secretary. Her most recent book is The Mighty and the Almighty: Reflections on America, God, and World Affairs.

This program features the groundbreaking and inspiring Madeleine Albright. In 1997, Albright became the first female to serve as the United States Secretary of State. Now, post her service with the Clinton administration, she has authored several books, the most recent being The Might and the Almighty: Reflections on America, God, and World Affairs. Speaking with Jim Hoge, Albright offers a unique look at the role of religion and its influence on foreign and domestic policy.
