more like a hate story
the push and pull of this story was exhausting. the words that came out of his mouth were like cold water he said some horriblethings about her body....he played games and tried to psycho analyze her throughout the entire story. she was also somewhat annoying. it was a bit too much with minimal sizzle. i love this author and will definitely read another one of her books but this book made me frustrated and I had to fast forward through the endless ways he tried to maker her jealous.

Love Lauren Layne!!
Ok so she’s my favorite author. I’ve read / listened to literally every single one of her books and I adore them all. With that said this one was a weird listen at times because of the flashbacks and repeated scenes/ moments from the previous book about the main characters sister. It was odd to re-listen to the same thing it confused me as if I was listening to the other book not this one at times.

The main character was too neurotic for me
The main character was neurotic based on damaging incidents in high school. The book was raw as a result. I adore this author but this character felt a bit too flawed for the relationship to last. Hope others like the story more than I do and feel more optimistic.

2 different books
I don’t like the fact that this book had parts from the first book in it as if it wasn’t three years apart. It keeps repeating saying that happened in the first book.
