Long awaited … not disappointed

I have enjoyed listening to each installment of this series- the voice of each character is well developed by the author and acted by the narrator. Now I’m just sad it’s already done because I couldn’t stop listening. Bravo to all.

Brilliant all around!

I am a big fan of the Cyrus and Eve series. this book was brilliant all around! Robotham makes us empathize with each of the characters, such wonderful storytelling. Narration by Joe Jameson was spot on, perfection for each character. I never take time to write full reviews, but had to on this one. I cannot wait for the next book!

Great read!!!

Went from suspenseful to laughing out load. Such a good book. Kept me wanting to read more which kept me on my treadmill even longer. Very much enjoyed this book and Evie!

Love the main characters

The narration is perfect. The main characters have a unique bond. The storyline is also unique. A crime series different from all the rest. I am hoping for more to come.?

You will not find a better story , performance or better written novel this year. Robotham is a master and this series with Cyrus and Evie just gets better.

Robotham the Reliable

I can always count on Mr Robotham to deliver great characters, and I really enjoy this eccentric pairing of Evie and Cyrus. Plot was okay. It’s probably just me but I’m sick to death of baby related stuff. On the other hand the addition of Cyrus’ dangerous schizophrenic brother was very interesting. Brought to mind a famous character in everyone’s favorite American novel, which would be a big spoiler if I named it. Overall satisfying. Looking forward to more from Evie and Cyrus. And remember: you can’t have the attic, and buttons are important.

The entire series is great!

I discovered this series on one of the Audible sales and am glad I did. Absolutely loved the first two with the third being just a little bit less loved due to the conclusion of the mystery surrounding Evy’s past. Definitely start with book 1 - it’s really a great listen in all aspects!

I hope there’s a fourth as I really care about these characters! Exceedingly well read. Joe is an amazing reader!

Of the 3 books I’ve listened to, this is the best so far, can’t fair to listen to the last one.
