However, Richard knows that he will return to Thailand, and he books a flight for March 2020.

Nobody could have seen the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 coming, and when it does, it throws a whole new set of challenges into the mix for Richard and Kop. In January 2020, Thailand was the first country outside of China to have Covid cases, and after that, nobody could have imagined what Covid would become in the months that followed.

Only one short week before Richard's flight, Covid begins to show itself and begins to spread in Europe, and countries start to lockdown.

Richard wonders how he will get to the love of his life, with a negative Covid-19 test health certificate being a necessity for travel but almost impossible to get! Follow along as Richard tries as hard as he can to get a Covid test, get to Thailand, and be reunited with the love of his life in the midst of the covid pandemic.
