A time for forgiveness
This is a great story, a family reuniting for the holidays after the absence of its patriarch for unknown reasons. Jimmy and Eve are provided the opportunity to reconnect after they are snowed in together. She needs to understand why he left her so abruptly, why he never came home as her world came crashing down. Guilt played a huge part in Jimmy's actions, and he did to his family what his father did to him and his mom. He left without a backward glance, something he promised himself he would never do. He would never cause his loved ones such pain. One mistake changed everything and rather than fess up, he ran. Now he's back, to be the husband and (grand)father his family deserves. If they will have him back.
Listening to this delightfully sweet story of redemption via AI was an okay experience, but a person's voice would have tugged at my heartstrings more.
