Another amazing book

Gah! Parker and Ronan are so sweet and perfect.. This author never misses the mark with a moving, amazing book. I have loved Ronan and Parker from their first introduction as husbands and friends. I was amazing to see their early relationship and their strength. And poor Jonas. He is so uncertain and afraid of life. This author has such an amazing way of crafting characters and developing such a worthwhile story. I also love this narrator. A good combo and highly recommended!

Love this Series

I absolutely LOVE this series and this book didn't disappoint. We've met both Parker and Ronan in the previous books. They are now married. When Jonas comes to town because of his father things start to change on how he feels about changing things in the town. Parker & Ronan are both attracted to Jonas and they have a threesome with Jonas moving in with them after he has to go back home to settle things after his father is no longer able to run the business. I can't wait for the next book.

Nick does a fantastic job narrating the story.

Liked and surprised

I was not expecting this story to go the way it did. I was really expecting a love story between Parker and Ronan. So when Jonas came into the picture it threw me a bit.

I didn’t mind the trifecta romance but it took me a minute to get my head straightened after expecting the other.

The narration was good, though with the three heroes I got a little confused in places but nothing that deterred me from listening.

Not my favorite from the series but I did enjoy it!

Great Listen

I enjoyed the book and dove right in for the narration. I wasn’t familiar with this narrator but it was great. I could get lost in the storyline and just enjoy it coming to life.

Polyamorous monogamy

If you like storylines about polyamorous triads, you might like this book. Overall the plot is fairly decent- a solidly committed married couple adding a committed third to their family. If you’ve read the other books in this series, this book seems to cover much of what you already know about the young life of the two mc’s but with more details. I had a difficult time with this book because the first 8 or so chapters focus on early life of the main couple, then BAM there is an entire long detailed chapter about the childhood of a brand new character who seems to have nothing to do with the first part of the book. There was no segue at all and because I was listening to audio vs reading I literally checked twice to see if perhaps I accidentally switched books. This was probably the worst introduction of a new character I’ve ever read. I’ve noticed with this series that Lindsey switches between past and present events and the transitions are sometimes abrupt. I give the book 4 stars because despite the disjointed way the first half is presented, the second half of the book seems much smoother than the first and the plot is decent.

An Emotional Love Story

I liked the relationship between Parker, Ronan, and Jonas, but I wanted more of Parker and Ronan. I loved all three men, but Ronan really stuck out for me. I felt so bad for Parker and Ronan and their tragic start both as kids and as adults. Jonas didn’t have the best father but having Parker and Ronan there to help him see his worth was beautiful.

This was an emotional story and Nick Hudson blew it out of the water with his amazing narration. He knows how to draw the emotions out. I loved that each character had their own voices.

I might be jealous

Maybe. Ronan, Parker, and Jonas are end game for me. I love how intensely these men come together and learn to fit in each other’s lives. The story was great but damn did I want it to be longer, to have the period of dating last a bit more before they find their HEA. But I love this book!!

Ronan, Parker and Jonas

In EM Lindsey’s 3rd book of the ‘On the Market’ series readers receive a glimpse into the backstory of established couple Ronan and Parker. They’ve now been married for ten years when new man in town, Jonas, might present more than just an attraction for the couple. All three men begin to consider whether they can make a life together as a polyamorous trio.

With Ronan’s MS, Parker’s jerk-y attitude and little-boy-lost Jonas, it’s no wonder there’s a high reading on the angst-o-meter. This is not to say that I consider it to be overwrought. Lindsay gives the reader reasonable explanations for both internal and external angst with each character. It’s there to allow each character to grow more accepting of themselves while also growing into a three-partnered relationship.

This audiobook is superbly narrated by Nick Hudson. He has a great ability to create distinct voices. His performance perfectly suits Lindsey’s writing style.

This book was given to me as a free review copy that I requested. These are my voluntary opinions of it.

Interesting twist on best friends to lovers

Overall, I enjoyed this book. As always, E, M. Lindsey does a wonderful job of bringing to life characters who typically don't get the spotlight and showing people living their lives with disabilities as part of the story without making their disabilities the major conflict. I liked that the best friends turned lovers had to grow up and work for their happy ending instead of just falling together right away. And I liked the way the polyamory unfolded with the original couple welcoming in a third. All three characters fit together well and had me rooting for their happy ending. A fun read and it was nice to get a peak at how the other couples in the series were doing through little cameos.

Amazing, emotional love story.

I loved this story so much! I was already so curious about the relationship between Parker and Roman, and Jonas fits in with them so perfectly it's as if they have always meant to be together, the three of them.
I loved that we also got the story of how Roman and Parker first got together. The good, the bad, and the ugly!
And the slow falling in love between the three of them is so emotional and amazing it took my breath away!
I am totally in love with Nick Hudson's narration for this series, it just enhances the already beautiful stories so much.
