James House has written about his life and music career by blending his story right into many captivating songs throughout this book. He has beautiful artistry and heart with his writing. In the best way, it left me wanting more. Luckily, I can listen to it again and again. (I hope the songs in this book become an album too) 🎼 ☮️ 🎼

The story behind the music in the best way

Following through this book with the actual writer/musician was amazing. He introduces us to the stories and creativity behind some of the greatest songs we’ve ever heard on the radio and then performs the song! And he performs them like no one else can because these are his words. This is his music. I am a behind-the-scenes kind of gal and I love the trivia behind movies and music. This will be one of my all-time favorites from now on. It’s actually something you can listen to again and again like an album. I highly recommend this musical anthology and I suggest you prepared to be moved.

James is a wonderful songwriter and this album is such an excellent example of his craft.
Getting to hear the stories of his childhood in his own enthusiastic voice is heartwarming!

Welcome to James House's world... Don't know him? Well then you most definitely should, as to know him is to love him & his music. Each beautifully, emotionally spoken chapter is equally open & raw, then capped off by a heartfelt song written especially for that moment. Captivating stories of chasing dreams, facing demons, success & failure. The music needs to be a soundtrack all on its own. Kudos!

OMG! Just finished your Audible book!! Absolutely amazing!!! Listening to the songs along with your stories around them was incredible! I have been a fan since the early 90s. I have all your albums and have seen you perform live several times. You are so talented, and your voice is so special. Continue writing and performing, it's definitely your calling.
To anyone looking for a great book to listen to this is the one! It's not a lengthy listen. It includes some of the songs written by the Author and his background on the song and his performance. There are great stories included. I am so hoping James will do another one!
