Suspense and action with a side of romance.
Jake, former military, finds himself in a mess of hot water with some big men of Vegas. His romantic interest is also in a mess with the same dirty men but in a different way. Love the suspense, constant action and humor. Characters have great development through the book, learning bits throughout kept me intrigued. It was fun to hear familiar areas of Oregon and Washington (and maybe characters). I was not expecting to listen to the entire book in 24 hours. I am excited for book 2!

Action packed story that will keep you wanting more
I am a huge fan of Grisham, Connelly and Patterson. I would put J.D. Kephart in the same realm of Authors. Lost Vegas was full of action and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes this type of thriller.

Absolutely fantastic....
let me start off by saying if I could give this book more than five stars I would ..This book has everything in it .Very easy to read hard to put down it's got relatable characters also makes you think what would I do in this situation this book is filled with twists and turns that you would not expect.. Very glad it's a series cuz I can't wait to find out what happens next. If you are truly looking for a great book I would highly recommend this one to everyone....
