In July 1973, Bob Tininenko, his wife Linda, and his brother in-law Jim Fisher set sail from Tacoma, Washington, on a 31-foot trimaran, down the West Coast to Costa Rica. The journey was expected to take a matter of weeks, but 10 days into the cruise, the party encountered a freak storm off the coast of Northern California. Bobs will to keep everyone alive. Creative ways to spend the endless difficult hours. Linda was an angel.
What I liked least. The cursing in the final chapters, don’t think it was necessary. That Bob never gave his life to the Lord.

Amazing. sad. intense
As we watch or read fiction we expect a happy ending. You forget this is a true story. although not the perfect ending. It's real and shows what 3 people in the same situation can end up with 3 different out comes.

LOST IN THE BOOK
I truly loved this book. It showed the deepest nature of man. While I struggled to understand Jim's reasoning on some things I did admire his faith in God. the Narrarator did an excellent job. I would read this author again.
