Acerca de esta escucha

Why am I so overwhelmed by fear, doubt, and worry? How can I resist giving up when the storms of life tempt me to lose faith? What is God’s plan and purpose for my life when it feels like the walls are closing in all around me? Why do I feel so tired and helpless, crushed by the weight of pain and confusion?

“Lord, I'm Tired” unpacks twenty issues which consume our minds, directing our attention toward God's Word for answers to life's trials. Whether enslaved to sin or struggling to resist temptation, we can discover hope and healing in the absolute truth of Scripture which casts light into the darkness of our hearts. All we need is to focus our attention on Jesus to find rest for our weary souls and discover the peace of God which surpasses all understanding (Phil. 4:7).

Whether we feel enslaved by mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual fatigue, we can survive life's trials knowing the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit (Psa. 34:18). He simply wants us to relinquish full control of our lives to His sovereign will and trust that He has a far greater plan and purpose for the trials we face to grow our faith.

Peace and contentment are within our grasp. How then will we respond and protect our mental health?

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:28–30).

Great resource for hope and healing!

This book is equally as good as "Attributes of a Godly Man" by Daniel Ploof, which I loved. Extremely applicable and rich with numerous Scripture references to validate the author's arguments. I love when authors narrate their own books and this is a great example. Easy to listen to with great application questions and a prayer at the end of each chapter. This is a book that everyone can gain clear perspective on issues plaguing our minds daily: doubt, fear, anxiety, etc. More importantly, it points the reader to the Bible for answers throughout each chapter. Great resource for hope and healing! Can't recommend enough.
