wow wow wow

this is a masterpiece. the story alone is brilliant, i "couldnt put it down". but it is really brought alive with this performance. one of the best audio books I have heard. well done

Engaging story. Terrible narrator.

I was annoyed, very early on, by many words mispronounced by the narrator. I thought about returning the book as this spoiled my experience. I really wanted to listen to the rest of the book, because I enjoyed the author’s previous work, so I persevered and finished it today. I enjoyed the story and found the various characters interesting. I have listened to audiobooks for many years and have never felt the need to complain about a narrator before. Part of the blame must surely go to whoever did the quality control (did anyone?) of the audio version.

One of the best performances of a book ever…the characters and Brisbane came alive. Highly recommended
