A very enjoyable read.

The story is compelling and filled with action, romance, tragedy, and lots of humor. The characters are well fleshed out and very real. This is one of the best books I've read in a long while. I highly recommend it, if for no other reason than for the monkeys. They are a hoot.

I really enjoyed this novel. It’s quirky, fantastic, romantic, and tragic. You never know where it will take you. I especially love the characters; some you love and some you hate and some you’re just torn between. Littlethumb Brooks is such a unique protagonist. 10 out of 10. Will read again. Can’t wait for the sequel.

Magical, Poignant, Fun

The author, Truant D. Memphis, skillfully blends flawed characters and sharp satire with touches of American pop culture to bring Littlethumb to life. Both main and supporting characters are well developed, though there was missed potential in further exploring Tommy Toxic—whose impact on Littlethumb was deeper than most, despite his limited role. The dialogue and narration are vivid and authentic, keeping the story moving at a steady, engaging pace. Plot twists are original and surprising, yet they unfold naturally within the story’s rhythm.

The narrator, Jacob A Castellon, delivered a compelling performance, speaking clearly with excellent enunciation that made the story easy to follow. Their vivid tones and expressive delivery brought the tale to life, immersing listeners in each scene. With a smooth, well-timed cadence, the narrator breathed life into the characters and their situations, adding emotional depth and nuance that enhanced the overall storytelling experience.

An engaging and unique tale that spans a wide range of emotions and experiences.

Loved it

Amazing book. Loved the storyline and the narrator and author has done a really good job with this book. Definitely would listen to it again and again. Overall excellent book to listen to. 5 stars from me.

Montage of comedy & catastrophe shaken not stirred

You ever witness one of those people that sits on their couch with a TV remote in hand, watching one of hundreds of cable channels for a few seconds, just long enough to sense what's being played, then advance to the next channel, filling the time with entertaining but non-sequitur content? Well, I've just completed the audiobook version of this odd behavior and I have it admit it left me in a bit of a stupor. All these seemingly disconnected bits and pieces of character experiences and dialogue feel like a box of puzzle pieces that were dumped on a tabletop. Until they start to fit together to create a work that is much larger and more vividly beautiful than the sum of its parts. Salt-and-peppered with sincere human emotion, crass disregard, answers-to-life seeking, and the yearning for connections that people often have, Littlethumb Sneezed tells a tale of sadness and joy, shouts and whispers, punk and Picasso, and so much more. It's a delightful foray into an alternate style of story weaving that might take some acclimation. Narration of the multitudes of voices was expertly performed by Jacob Castellon.
